Be prepared to queue. This place is so popular that inevitably, unless you’ve trekked through a field of four-leaf clovers on the way over, you’ll have to stand in line for a table. But it will be more than worth it. This renowned tapas bar, an adjunct to the excellent delicatessen next to Borough Market, serves some of the best Spanish dishes outside of Spain: wonderful hams (the infamous acorn-fed Iberico), divine cheeses and an impressive list of Spanish wines. Of course if you are obliged to wait you could do worse than perch at the bar and sip a superb sherry. If only it were bigger it would be perfect.
