Keeping up with the Jones’ in trendy Kensington can be a challenge, but Eclipse pulls it off easily, and excels at creating a few trends of its own along the way. The second location of the iconic Eclipse in Chelsea, Eclipse Kensington brings the same cocktail making expertise to the mix as the original edition with one extra twist. Once inside the slick streetfront location, you are submerged in a world of soft and loungy low seating perfect for getting to know what makes the drinks here trendsetters. Look no further than their signature drink, the Eclipse. It is a martini made of vodka, fresh sliced watermelon and kaffir lime leaves all shaken up together. It’s their best selling drink and has been imitated all over London. In fact, they sell so many Eclipses, that on a yearly basis they go through over fifty tons of watermelon, and will serve their signature drink in a full watermelon for groups. Another example of Eclipse ingenuity gone global is their world famous Crack Baby shot. Created in house, this mix of premium vodka shaken with sour passion fruit, Chambord, and champagne has become so popular it is poured at bars all over the planet nowadays. One subtle difference between Eclipse Kensington and the original location in Chelsea is the presence of a downstairs club where you can slink to the soothing sounds of deejay decks until late on the weekends.
