The Jam Tree Chelsea
London-South West London
May 11, 2018
This is a chic gastro-pub with a light, airy interior, exposed brick details and bold pop art prints lining the walls. There’s a beer garden outside for summer BBQs and hog roasts. Plus, the Jam Tree has you covered – just in case the London weather proves fickle – with large parasols will keep you dry or the sun out of your eyes and heaters to keep you warm. It caters to the Chelsea crowd but attracts punters from all over the city and has built up quite the reputation as a South West London hotspot and a staple of Chelsea‘s nightlife. Expect a buzzy crowd out for a good time. Once 10:00pm hits, live music and DJs sets come as standard.
Their menu is a fusion of British and Caribbean cuisine, courtesy of head chef Dominic Taylor. It’s a modern, British menu that has old favourites like bangers and mash sitting alongside the likes of North African ‘chops’, seafood coconut curry and fried chicken. They offer gluten-free options as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Come the weekend, it’s time for Bottomless Brunch, which brings unlimited prosecco, eggs every which way and, by way of something different, chicken and waffles.
Get ready to knock back some of the most inventive cocktails in London. The Jam Tree Chelsea has some of the quirkiest and sweetest cocktails around. The Netflix & Chill is a sight to behold. Served in a large popcorn cup with a garnish of popcorn, it combines vanilla vodka, butterscotch liqueur, caramel and lemon. What’s more, most of their classic cocktails like mojitos are available on a 2-for-1 drinks deal during Happy Hour! We’ll drink to that.
