- Great food

This self-styled ‘dive and dog bar’ feels more Shoreditch than Kensington but that’s part of the appeal, bringing dude food care of Ross Clarke, a creative development chef in The Fat Duck Experimental Kitchen no less – and punchy cocktails to W8. The interior is retro and playful with a vintage America vibe. On the cocktail front, the potent Mutt’s Nuts blends bourbon, cinnamon infused maple syrup, angostura bitters, lemon and apple to sweet effect, while the elegant Top Dog blends vodka, strawberries and Prosecco – a classic combination and one we could happily quaff all evening. Food-wise we’re talking epic hotdogs in brioche buns, they are some of the best we’ve ever had in London. The Asian Dog complete with kimchi is testament to this, and don’t miss the expertly fried crispy chicken, it’s mouth-watering. Look for the vendor stall style street entrance and head down for some footloose and fancy-free fun.
