Scopa Italian Roots

No need for fancy dresses and smart shoes, here at Scopa Italian Roots, the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. With a hipster ambiance and some decent food on the menu, Scopa Italian Roots is the type of place that attracts many for a retro and fun evening. The exposed brick, loft style gastropub knows how to please its customers. The comfy bar offers diners cosy seating booths along with plenty of communal tables gathered in the middle. While you’re enjoying an old school cocktail by candlelight take the time to look at their carefully chosen menu that boasts some hearty meals. We suggest trying the ‘crostini ricotta’ with some well-cooked Brussel sprouts, as this is a fav from their list. There is also the ‘whole branzino’ that shouldn’t go unmentioned as this fish is beautifully presented on the plate! Cooked in lemon juice, it tastes zingy and fresh! It’s worth noting that their desserts are absolutely mouth-watering and unlike where most gastropubs go wrong, they aren’t too sugary and overloaded with flavours. We suggest the light pannacotta with apricots! Scopa Italian Roots also offer a very extensive wine list, alongside a large spirit menu to choose from.
