All sleek wood panelling, leather seating and cool blue lighting, Bar Azul is the height of chic in the Macau hotel world. As the only bar within the Four Seasons Hotel, it has pulled out all the stops to ensure that it is the only nightlife stop visitors need to make, while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere (there are only 68 seats). If you’re looking for a relaxing nightcap in an elegant environment, or simply want to escape the bustle of Macau’s casino and concert scene, then Bar Azul is the perfect destination. Bar Azul’s drinks menu is stuffed with premium liquors and spirits, along with an impressive wine selection featuring some choice whites and reds from the U.S., Australia and Portugal and a weekly wine tasting event for those looking to expand their horizons. In addition to their extensive knowledge of grapes and grains, the bartenders are also adept at whipping up several signature cocktails including the Asian Baby, a frozen concoction of Chinese wine and lychee, and unique takes on some classics – the Saffron Passionfruit Martini and the Rosemary Gin Fizz are two of the tastiest. Many locals claim that the snack menu served at Bar Azul is almost as delicious as expensive dinner menus in other parts of the city and although the dim sum selection, wagyu burgers, sate skewers and tempting desserts are tapas-sized and meant to be enjoyed with your drink, they are certainly worth skipping dinner for.
