The Smith has a fantastic buzz about it. With a large lively bar area at the front and a (only slightly) more formal dining space at the back, it’s the perfect place to visit with a bunch of friends for a night out. The décor is familiar but stylish bare brickwork and dark leather banquettes. There are plenty of cosy corners plus a terrazzo kitchen bench where a person can perch and watch their dishes being prepared. The cocktail list is definitely worthy of your time try the Toorak Princess, a gorgeous combination of gin, winter berries and champagne. The menu spans the globe from Asian to Mexican and most dishes are designed to be shared. Kick off your night with a glass of fizz and some wonderfully fresh oysters served with wasabi cavier ß-or just hang out in the bar and put the cocktail list to the test.
