The Toff In Town
Melbourne-City-Center
May 11, 2018
The Toff, as this Swanston Street bar is known to locals, has the feel of a private club. It’s divided into distinct spaces, a performance area that plays host to jazz and cabaret sets and a bar with red leather stools, but best of all is the partitioned space full of comfy curtained booths like an old fashioned railway carriage. There’s an old fashioned glamour to the place, not to mention an air of the illicit, one feels one could get up to allsorts in the privacy of those booths, though you’re probably best of sticking to the excellent drinks and above average nibbles.
