A renowned Art Deco concert hall and cocktail bar in Melbourne, if you haven't spent a night at Trak Lounge Bar, you haven't done Melbourne right.

One of the only places in Melbourne where you can wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care while holding a gorgeous handcrafted drink in your hand, Trak Lounge Bar’s combination of concerts and cocktails has made it a nightlife institution in the city.

The venue sprawls out over an expansive Art Deco gem of a building, with the undisputed star being the main cruiseliner ballroom-esque space home to several bars (one with a buzzing blue neon strip) and the stage where the concert magic happens. A diverse roster of themed nights, local acts, and international names graces the stage at Trak, with everything from 90s R&B legends Boyz II Men and the Pointer Sisters, up-to-the-minute alt rockers Kasabian and Jimmy Eat World, and dance legend DJ Eric Prydz all recently tearing the house down. What we love the most about Trak though is that unlike some other concert venues that shall remain nameless, cocktails are not an afterthought. No, when you make that decision to make a bar run (while crossing your fingers you don’t miss your favorite song), you’re going to be rewarded with a quality cocktail.

A couple of our favorites are the Blue Envy (premium gin, strawberry liqueur, lemon juice and passionfruit served straight up) and the Hubba Bubba Cosmo (bubblegum-infused vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry, lime and a muddle of strawberries). There’s also a short-but-sweet wine list on offer, in addition to plenty of champagne, if you want to play rockstar for the night.
