Set in a series of caves carved into the cliff‐face on the south of the Spanish island, with terraces perched above crystal clear waters, this is a pretty impressive place to enjoy a sundowner. Sunset sessions are a speciality at this ultimate bar with a view, but any excuse will do to sip a cocktail in Cova d’en Xoroi. During the summer months the bar is open from 11:30am until the not so early hours of the morning. Ambient, chilled‐out music sets the scene for some laid back drinking and view‐gazing as day slips into evening. But the party really gets going once the sun has gone down, when the caves are transformed into a chic nightclub hosting international DJs playing the latest club sounds, a series of themed party nights, and regular live music. That view doesn’t come cheap ‐ there’s an entrance fee throughout the day and night. A sunset session will set you back €12.00 per person, which includes an alcoholic drink. If you’re feeling particularly flush you can splash out and reserve a VIP seafront terrace, starting at around  €150, to enjoy the sunset in true style. And once you’ve watched the sun go down, you might as well knock back a few more cocktails, throw some moves on the dance‐floor, and stay to see it come back up again.
