There’s a classic feel to this romantic Bay View bar. It’s been around for years and remains a favourite for very good reason.
For a start they know a thing or two about atmosphere. Inside the white-fronted building you’ll find a low lit space with people nestling in corners (quite a few on dates from the look of things) and perusing the cocktail menu as Frank Sinatra plays in the background. Which brings us to the second thing At Random does well.
Those seeking a simple beer will be disappointed but there’ll be on their own. As the drinks list informs you, the bar serves no beer or wine, but At Random’s ‘specialty drinks’ are quite something: colourful, potent and creative. Old school certainly, but all the better for it.
