Amber Summer

As the age-old saying goes, “after the party, it’s the after party”. Well, during the summer months in Monaco, after the beach, it’s the all about the ‘after beach’, and that’s where Amber Summer slides in.
A slinky lounge on the breezy terrace of the Le Meridien Beach Plaza hotel, Amber Summer is the place to go once you’ve soaked up the sun but you still want to keep things sizzling. This after-beach party venue opens at 5pm during the summer, and plays host to cocktails, wine, DJs, and one of the most glamorous crowds this side of Monaco’s famous casino. We love the entire package here, but let’s start with the aesthetics, because they are as sleek and ‘summer chic’ as you could possibly imagine. Plush white couches covered with colorful pillows are surrounded by stately columns and lush greenery, all with a stunning backdrop of yachts floating on the Mediterranean, because, well, this is Monaco after all, darling.
Things start out pretty laid back here, as sipping sundowners is the primary activity until nightfall, but once the stars come out, the sounds of the DJs and the sublime cocktails poured by the bar get the party vibes cranking until the wee hours. Keep an eye out for theme nights (recent editions were Latina Flair and Naughty or Nice Night) and if you’re up for it, you could always party all the way through the night until the venue transforms back into a breakfast lounge at dawn.
