This is a bar and half. 132 punches above its weight for a neighbourhood bar.  It’s a small but handsome space, all concrete, wood and bare brickwork. The staff are affable and they’re serving some properly creative cocktails with a care and attention to detail. The drinks list changes seasonally and includes some really inventive tipples. The Bootlegger cocktail is a blend of apricot brandy, Blanche de Chambly, bourbon, peach jam, Angostura bitters and fresh basil, while the Absinthe Suissesse, pairs the green stuff with cream, orgeat syrup, egg white and nutmeg. They also offer a range of classic drinks made well and serve a selection of decent craft beers as well as a few small plates and bites to sate your appetite – hummus, olives and the like. It’s the drinks that really make this place, that and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. This place has a buzz about it that’s really appealing. Photo credit – https://www.facebook.com/132BarVintage
