This popular Plateau nightspot boasts a brilliantly large list of rums from around the world and a laid-back lounge bar atmosphere. Chef Guillermo Lopez has created a great Latin-inspired tapas menu which pairs well with the long list of drinks available. There are over 55 different varieties of rum originating from 18 countries, all the rum you could ever wantessentially, and if that wasn’t enough there’s also a cellar full of excellent Spanish wine to choose from, as well as a wide selection of local craft and imported brews. The décor is warm, russet-coloured and atmospheric, with large lanterns and lots of warm wood and wrought iron. The tapas menu includes classic dishes like chorizo, patatas bravas, tortilla and croquettas, as well as more modern plates. There’s an outdoor terrace fringed with greenery for summer drinking and there’s frequent live music and DJ sets. The vibe is particularly festive and lively at weekends and it’s a great party place.
