This place is a cool, sleek vibe about it. Mimi la Nuit is an appealingly urban and contemporary restaurant and bar offering a menu of creative cocktails and good-quality French-inspired cuisine to a discerning crowd. Charming and upscale in atmosphere, the handsome bar boasts a distnctive snaking blonde wood counter and white brick walls. The cooking is modern, fresh and flavourful, with dishes including tasty lamb burgers, house-made ravioli, braised short rib of beef, tender chicken and a vast cote de boeuf to share, as well as various raw things and fresh oysters to pair with your glass of white wine. They have a carefully chosen wine list and a short list of inventive cocktails and classics with a twist, including the St Laurent, a mix of Daron, Galliano, champagne and lemon and the smooth Loretto to Oaxaca, which mixes Maker’s Mark with Clamato, Beneva, lemon and spices.
