Rising from the ashes (literally) of Moscow hot spot Dyagilev, the glamorous Soho Rooms is one of the city’s top glitteratti magnets. It’s a seriously swish space, spread over three floors, and consisting of a bar, a dining area and a club. A lot of money has been spent on this place it’s evident wherever you look. Marble and onyx have been liberally used, the obligatory crystal chandelier cascade from the ceiling everything gleams. The lounge is relaxed and elegant with jazzy music and just the right level of ostentation; there’s a vast dining room, with a head chef who’s served his time at Spago, serving haut fusion cuisine; DJs hold court under disco balls in the venue’s club room and then there’s the rooftop pool, a real pulling point and the thing that lifts this place a notch above similar Moscow venues.
