The very modern craft cocktail bar invites local celebrity mixologists for pop-ups and takeovers, expanding on the drink options available behind the bar. While you can head to the more traditional interior bar, it’s more fun to stand at the futuristic, circular outdoor station, admiring the city skyline while the bartender mixes up your mojito. Cocktails are meticulously presented with inventive garnishes like coriander and coffee beans. The Mirage is an upscale Long Island Iced Tea featuring gin, vodka, rum, cinnamon syrup, peach juice and pineapple juice. Guests savor the whole experience of this indoor/outdoor space even during the rainy season, when protective windscreens and canopies are erected. During Happy Hour (5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.) you’ll find half-priced drinks, including champagne, and though prices are high, unlike many rooftop spots, there is no cover charge (except on Fridays and Saturdays after 8 p.m. and some holidays).
