A stylishly casual, sunny corner of the Taj Lands End is, by day, the spot for artisanal teas and estate coffees, at night it becomes a playfully social cocktail bar. Live piano / jazz music, every evening except Monday, closes out the afternoon’s High Tea. It’s then when hotel guests and well-dressed locals shopping the posh Bandra West neighborhood come in for people watching, creative Mojito interpretations, a well-curated wine and single malt list, and “Ayuh” cocktails (inspired by healthy ayurvedic ingredients, including ginger and amla/gooseberry). Large floor-to-ceiling windows afford perfect viewing options of the Bandstand promenade, the sea (hence Land’s End), and epic sunsets. Kid friendly during the day, but it can be a bit pricey for a family affair. Business clients will appreciate the detailed, personal attention and lighthearted, yet well-appointed ambiance. When it’s toasty outside (often) cool down with their take on the local Kala Khatta tea (a fruity, salty, peppery refresher).
