Hi Ho Lounge
May 11, 2018
This laid-back Ninth Ward bar is slightly bohemian in atmosphere, but in a genuine rather than a forced and self-conscious way. It’s a little rough around the edges, with scruffy, student-ish décor, but that’s part of the Hi Ho Lounge’s appeal. One only as to look at the crowd, composed as it is of a spectrum of artistic types and those for want of a better word, we shall term ‘characters’. Films are screened and there are board games on hand, as well as a couple of near-antique pool tables. There’s also regular live music with a line up including everything from blues to funk and jazz to indie rock.
