The team behind the popular Williamsburg rooftop bar, Berry Park, have a winner on their hands in the shape of Greenpoint’s Northern Territory, a rustic, spacious venue with an inviting outdoor deck with a top view out over the Manhattan skyline. It’s a bi-level space. The upstairs bar boasts a number of cosy booths covered with large white umbrellas to ward off the sun and features a grill-only menu including dishes like sausages and steak sandwiches. Downstairs there’s a more ambitious food menu featuring Australian-influenced grub. There are a huge range of tasty things on skewers – including halloumi with charred tomatoes and lovely garlicky prawns. Their epic Aussie burger is a good bet too, topped off with a slice of beetroot, as is their skirt steak served with chimichurri sauce and a side of Brussel sprouts. You should definitely save some stomach space for their pavlova with mixed fruit – their brunch dishes are also well worth your attention.  They boast a good range of draught and bottled beer, have a decent antipodean wine list, and a range of quality house cocktails including a Pom Pisco which blends the titular spirit with lime juice, pomegranate juice, and bitters, and the Gin and Milk, which mixes gin, lavender simple syrup, cream, and Earl Grey. Photo credit – https://www.facebook.com/NorthernTerritoryBK
