Howlin Wolf is a cool and hip underground style bar on lower crown street in the arts precinct. Upon arrival you will notice that this hole-in-the-wall bar has dimmed lighting which helps create a dark and moody atmosphere leading you right up to the wooden planked bar. Howlin wolf specialise in whiskey and when we say specialise, we mean that they have a fine selection of over 100 types! They serve up tasty single malts from international regions and are proud to show off their signature cocktails as well as their classics with a twist, such as a signature ‘old fashioned’! You can grab a fancy glass of their finely aged whiskey and take a seat on their big booth seating arrangements or perhaps try their ‘watermelon cojito’; which is a house special made up of rum, watermelon infused coconut water, mint, lime juice and stevia! If you fancy staying for a meal, then hop up onto their communal long tables and order over the Louisiana fried chicken wings that are marinated in smoked whiskey bbq sauce and don’t forget their hand cut chips! The bar has nightly jazz and blues music playing and a special of live music every Friday!
