Orange County-Santa Ana
May 11, 2018
This low lit atmospheric bar in Santa Ana is perfect for a relaxed night out with friends, a round of good cocktails and a pretty unique menu.
Let’s start with the food as Lola Caspar dish up a very rare and delicious plate of soft octopus and merguez sausage. Accompanied by avocado and pickled onion with lemon aioli this is definitely a dish you won’t find elsewhere. If seafood isn’t your thing, then you should try their bacon wrapped dates as a starter, which admittedly sounds a little ‘out there’ but somehow the flavours mix exceptionally well!
Boasting high ceilings, a massive dangling chandelier, spacious patio and lovely wooden bar that serves up some mean cocktails! We recommend going for the ‘Radiclina’, which is a yummy mix of mezcal, bee pollen, chartreuse, citrus, and agave. It tastes as mouth-watering as it sounds! Another awesome cocktail that you should try is the ‘Huckleberry’ containing bourbon, pressed grapefruit and salted honey.
Happy hour runs at a very generous 5-7 with close to 60% off selected drinks. Don’t forget that Mondays are extra special with deals like ‘two-for-one’ on pints of their speciality drink, honey orange Ale and more.
