Central Bar

The welcoming and buzzing atmosphere pulls people in from the Union Market to Central Bar. The classic ‘flappers’ theme runs through the bar and makes it a fun place to stop for a drink.
“Unique” definitely describes this bar, with its caged drinks crates and very bold 1920’s/1930’s feel. The almost 280-degree bar sits in the middle of the room surrounded by leather bar stools. The hipster looking bar has a very complimenting colour theme-with brown wood, bare bricked columns and white chesterfield style booths.

The bar hosts many exciting evenings such as mezcal Mondays, 1920’s night and they are never short of some wine or whisky tasting evenings. The great thing about this bar is that it’s based inside a market place, which means if your feet are beginning to ache from a full day’s shopping, what better way to relax than in a friendly bar with an ice cold apple martini?
With happy hour from 4-7, Central knows how to please its prime time shopping customers! We would definitely suggest trying a Moscow mule which contains iced vodka, lime, ginger and syrup! The ginger juice gives the perfect kick to this one. Central bar has also been praised for how awesome their in-house punch tastes, so give it a try.
