Oulu’s music scene revolves around 45 Special. The much loved venue attracts a lively crowd. It’s spread over three floors. The basement is for rocking out whilst the ground floor bar area is better for catching up with your friends over a drink, there’s a further dance floor upstairs too. Not super trendy, but it doesn’t need to be this is a local favourite with good reason: it’s a great spot to hide away in on a wintery Scandinavian night, relaxed and fun, attracting a mixed bunch of people. There’s live music most nights and popular jam sessions held in the basement every Sunday night
