La Perle is a serious fashionista hangout for people who like to be looked at.
La Perle is a serious fashionista hangout for people who like to be looked at. The décor is along typical Paris café-bar lines, not really anything to write home about, but it’s the crowd that makes this place what it is. They’re young, impeccably (and inventively) groomed, and highly likely to have one eye on the mirror this is Facehunter territory and it shows. It can get quite smoky and sweaty inside and the rumour they laced the beer with absinthe was just a rumour, but none of this dents its scenester appeal. It won’t be for everyone but if you want to run with the city’s fashion pack, this is the place to be.
