The Bar at La Reserve Paris
May 11, 2018
The sparkling crown jewel of the five star La Reserve Hotel & Spa in Paris, the bar here is a sumptuous space precisely in line with what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber, and then some.
Just off the Champ-Elysees, the La Reserve hotel announces itself to the world outside by way of a grand door painted a bold shade of red, and the vibe inside keeps up the regal theme. Yes, inside the bar, it’s all about plush dimpled seating in shades of scarlet and purple, marble, a grand fireplace, and even the odd eclectic artifact (we’re not ashamed to say that we are particularly fond of the golden elephant statuettes).
‘Timeless’ is the word that best describes the atmosphere, and when it comes to the drinks, this theme continues. The menu is full of iconic cocktails like the Moscow Mule, the Vieux Carre, and the Mojito, while also showing off the bar staff’s creative side by way of a luxurious signature libation called Le First (vodka, passionfruit, basil, pineapple juice, and coconut syrup). The wine selection is particularly impressive as well, as the bar stocks some of the finest French wines and champagnes in the city. If you get peckish or simply just want to sample a bit of the good life, a menu full of small sharing plates of caviar, aged French cheese, and foie gras are there for the tasting.
