Bringing unique concoctions to the Paris cocktail scene, MAZE is a speakeasy-style bar with passionate mixology at its core.
Attracting a clientele as chic as the intimate wood-and-leather clad interior, MAZE is quickly becoming famous for its unique Asian-influenced flavour combinations, all conjured into being by a small group of artistic and enthusiastic mixologists.
Some of the most standout cocktails on the mind-boggling menu include the Tea Time – vodka infused with citrus, tea, lavender syrup, apple juice, lime, egg white and lemon caviar – the spicy Dragon Ball – red pepper sake, black pepper, kumbawa syrup, apple, lime and cinnamon – and the aptly named L’Amazing – vodka, passion puree, elderflower- flavored liqueur, vanilla, lime, champagne and Sichuan pepper.
Happy Hour takes place every Thursday evening, with lower priced cocktails served until 9.30pm, giving the after work crew enough time to loosen their ties and slump into a sleek leather armchair while listening to a little live music.
Those who prefer to work up a sweat on the dance floor can head to the bar’s lower level at the weekends, where deejays spin electro beats until the early hours. With famous bartenders, pulsing music and exotic-sounding cocktail ingredients, MAZE isn’t the kind of place you go for a quiet catch-up with friends; it aims to leave a lasting impression and bring a small slice of Asian flavour to an otherwise typical Parisian neighbourhood.
