Paris-Montmartre and the North

The bright, winning Persifleur is a great addition to the Montmartre bar scene. Opening at 6pm – early by Paris bar standards – it’s a vibrant, engaging space, which serves some seriously cook drinks. We like the sound of the Kaliya Berry, a juicy, fruity blend of vodka, berry liqueur, fresh pineapple puree, lemon and lime juice, and a dash of Prosecco, which is served long and beautifully presented, the cocktail a dazzling pink. Their cucumber and tequila concoction also sounds the business. The space is quirky and cool yet also classy in its design, with dusky pink banquettes and armchairs, buttercup yellow tables and bold blue walls. Bartender Mickael (previously of Lipstick and Bar le Forum) knows his stuff and the inventive drinks reflect that expertise; the prices are also reasonable for this part of town and the atmosphere is welcoming and cosy.
