Paris-Opera and Les Halles
May 11, 2018
One of the shining stars of the still-percolating South Pigalle (or SoPi if you’re so inclined) renaissance that has put the Paris neighborhood on the radar of hipsters, trendspotters, and travelers the world over, at its core, Le Mansart is a casual place to meet up with friends, play some foosball, and of course be seen. Home to a young and pretty crowd that still love to let loose and have fun, Le Mansart’s massive terrace fills to the gills on nice days, with groups basking in the sun, bouncing from table to table, checking their social media accounts in between drink orders. Regardless of the weather outside, the inside of Le Mansart and its retro 1950s American diner decor brims with Parisians putting down drinks post work, building to a frenzy as the small hours approach each evening. To accompany the march to midnight and beyond, music also takes center stage at Le Mansart as they play a wide range – from pop to electronic – to keep the crowd happy. When hunger strikes, Le Mansart offers a wide variety of gourmet bar food including some of the best bar burgers this side of New York. The foosball factor can’t be understated, though, as this fun retro game is cited time and time again as the reason that people come back to Le Mansart and it serves to show how well this bar truly gets its clientele.
