So-trendy-it-hurts restaurant bar on the top two floors of the LVMH building above the Kenzo store.
As the name suggests, its South East Asian-inspired, with bad boy designer Philippe Starck bringing typically brash touches like a green florescent stairway and seats with female face prints on them to the glassy, light-filled duplex space of architect Jean-Jacques Ory. Pouty Parisian model types poke at their pricey Asian food and spend much of their time looking for the more beautiful types to enter.
Cocktails are tasty but as pricey as the roof is high, while the view of the Seine is magnificent and the kudos of getting a table here well worth enduring the pretension.
