Paris-St Germain and the Latin Quarter

An elegant grown up spot with a beautiful view of the Jardin du Luxembourg, Le Rostand is everything you’d want from a Parisian bar. The interior is old school stylish, peppered with oriental paintings. There’s a long, central mahogany bar and wall-length mirrors. As we’ve mentioned it’s rather grown up, the clientele are mature and moneyed, though it’s a good spot for anyone who wants to spend an hour or so in the world of pearls and leather and fine whiskey. The cocktails are pricey, but then you probably knew that already and they serve decent bar snacks: croques and salads and the like. Civilised, we think, is the word that best suits this place.
