Le Zinc is a tiny and charming little bar, one of those atmospheric little places that France does so well. It’s attractively low-lit and cozy in its way, a simply decorated space with bare brick walls contrasting with bold splashes of red. It’s a superb place to while away an evening exploring the surprisingly adventurous cocktail list. The head bartender is highly regarded by those in the trade and her house concoctions are pretty special. This being France, there’s a decent wine list too. Jazz plays in the background and the atmosphere is warm and friendly, making this the kind of bar everyone would love to have in their neighbourhood.
