Philadelphia-Washington Square West
May 11, 2018
This city sister to Talula’s Table, part of Stephen Starr’s mini empire, has an appealing garden-to-table ethos. The revamped Washington Square space now boasts an attractive patio area and a bright airy dining room complete with herb boxes, reclaimed tables and comfy green couches. There’s something welcoming and homey about the whole set up. Garden fresh ingredients are evident in the cooking, which is accomplished, and in the cocktails, which are inventive, and there’s an admirable emphasis on biodynamic and sustainable wines.
