An architectural and design gem home to tantalizing food and drink, Café Vitória is the perfect place to play in Porto, regardless of the time of day.

If Porto’s Café Vitória (which translates to ‘Victory Cafe’) had it as their goal to create a modern bar and restaurant that also pays homage to the historic city that surrounds it and offers a little bit of leafy relaxation from said bustling city on the side, we can declare that they have resoundingly succeeded. Café Vitória creates a fantastic first impression, as utterly contemporary minimalist features like concrete floors and colorful Nordic chairs playfully mingle with tradition in the form of the quintessentially-Portuguese tiles and rustic wooden tiles. Outside the tranquil indoor garden at the rear of the space lies a canopied outdoor garden home to two levels filled with vintage tables and chairs surrounded by palms – transporting all who sit amongst them to a more tropical place. Open during the day as a place to linger over coffee or a light lunch, in the evening, Café Vitória evolves into one of the coolest places in the entire city to eat dinner and grab a drink, and this versatility helps to truly make it unique. In regards to the drinks, the cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits are all of the highest quality, ranging from the classic to the cutting edge, and are served by one of the friendliest and most attentive in Porto, the cherry on top of this victorious venue.
