If there was one word most people would pick to describe Prague's historic center full of spindly spires and bridges crossing the Vlatva River, it would likely be 'beautiful'.

If there was one word most people would pick to describe Prague’s historic center full of spindly spires and bridges crossing the Vlatva River, it would likely be ‘beautiful’. Fittingly, the KU Bar and Lounge describes itself as a beautiful venue for beautiful people, and as one of Prague’s trendiest bars for more than a decade, they mustn’t be embellishing too extravagantly. The concept of KU Bar was born around the turn of the century when clubs and lounges were experiencing a renaissance in the city, and that exciting time in Prague is still alive and dancing the night away inside the walls of the club today. Creative cocktails poured by expert bartenders, dance music dropped by the Czech Republic’s best deejays, and tasty bar snacks are all on the menu at KU Bar every night of the week. As a result, the crowd that files in is a mix of both locals, tourists, and even Czech celebrities. Amid the fun in the club each night, the bartenders still manage to finesse a full range of premium and unique cocktails like a Saffron Gimlet and La Concha Mojito – a mojito made with grapefruit instead of lime. All the club classics are here too – Appletinis, Cosmopolitans, and Long Island Iced Teas – along with a full range of shooters to get the party started or keep it going until the late hours. Throw in nightly happy hours and mixology classes, and what you have is a beautifully well rounded-club for Prague’s party people.
