Simply put, if you can’t have a good time at Le Bureau de Poste, you’re doing something wrong. Yes, Le Bureau de Poste is a laid back and lively bar in Quebec that excels at bar food, cocktails, and having fun. The interior of Le Bureau de Poste is reminiscent of a ski lodge, with wood paneled walls, tree-trunk-like wooden pillars anchoring the room, and an all-round cozy vibe to keep you warm on the chilliest of Canadian winters. Oh, and would you look at that, there’s also groups of people taking shooters off of skis at the bar. Yes, that irreverent tradition of the North American apres ski has made its way to Le Bureau de Poste, but if you think it’s all about partying here, you’re only half right. Le Bureau de Poste offers tantalizing bar food at a set low price, making it the ideal place to pre-game before the real festivities begin. Libations are taken just as seriously, with an impressive selection of beer (both craft and household names), wine, shooters, and ever-so-fun cocktails. Yes, the cocktail card will take you away to a sunny place, with a couple of our favorites being the Raspberry Mojito – premium white rum, fresh mint, raspberry puree, lime juice and soda – and the Killer Kool-Aid – amaretto, melon liqueur, cranberry juice and soda. Le Bureau de Poste also loves to serve upside-down Mexican beers in many of its cocktails, completing the transformation from ‘ski holiday’ to ‘spring break’. And if all this revelry is making you nervous about a morning-after headache, don’t worry for a second, as they also have an award-winning Bloody Caesar.
