At the heart of the happening Saint-Roch district (arguably Quebec’s most lively area) Le Cercle is quickly becoming one of the most interesting stars of the show. Open from the early morning until late in the evening, Le Cercle is a unique space home to a gorgeous decor, fantastic cocktails and wine, and a myriad of artistic and cultural offerings. Add that all together, and you have one of the most special places in the city. Le Cercle is stylish from the start, as you are greeted by plenty of cool touches like exposed brick walls, thought-provoking modern art pieces, and dazzling light fixtures. And as you make your way to the wine and cocktail menu, you will be equally impressed. The wine selection is one of the best in the city, numbering 250 at last count, and running the gamut of labels from across the wine-producing world. Cocktails are just as accolade-worthy, as Le Cercle comes up with some truly creative shakes like the eye-opening Good Morning Sunshine (made of tequila, Italian aperitif, tropical juice, hot sauce, lime, falernum, red wine, and tonic) and the Daniel Boone (whisky, mint, lemon, tonic, and maple syrup). Cider and beer lovers are also well-looked-after, as well as music fans, as live gigs populate the nighttime agenda at Le Cercle on a regular basis.
