This friendly, slightly bohemian bistro-bar is one of the coolest spots in Santiago. Like its sister venue over in El Bosque, the Providencia branch of Liguria (there are three in all) is a warm, vibrant place to spend an evening, with a buzzing crowd and a lively atmosphere. Waiters are bow-tied and uber-efficient and the menu of hearty Chilean dishes (with a few Italian classics thrown in for good measure), are reasonably priced and well executed. An excitingly huge selection of Chilean wines is on offer making this a top destination for a night of both dinner and drinking. The place gets steadily busier as the evening progresses, so if you fancy dining there after 9pm, be prepared for a wait at the bar before you get a table. Not much of a chore in the scheme of things.
