    This stylish Belltown bar is appealing in so many ways with its handsome interior – black tin ceiling, exposed brickwork, striking silver and black wallpaper and natty bartenders. And all that before we’ve even got to the drinks, which are well worth experiencing. Their house made shrub programme is very on trend, allowing you to customise your drink to your tastes. A pretty tray is presented to visitors holding an individual-sized bottled shrub, a glass of soda and a shot of spirit; it’s up to you to do the mixing though the dapper chaps behind the bar will help out if asked. If you want a more traditional cocktail than the drinks list features variation on the traditional Old Fashioned and a range of original house cocktails, many employing complex and intriguing flavour profiles with savoury elements like the Arugulito, a feisty mix of arugula, gin and pepper. The Dirty Heart mixes vodka with artichoke brine and Gorgonzola olives while the Avocado Sour pairs vodka wih you’ve guessed it fresh avocado. They also stock the by now obligatory barrel aged cocktails as well as a range of craft beers, both on tap and bottled. There’s pizza by the slice if you’re hungry (toppings include the meat-laden Three Little Piggies, a pear and blue cheese combo and a ‘Reuben’ with corn beef and sauerkraut) and the whole venue has a hip yet pleasingly unaffected vibe.
