Herb and Bitter Public House

Phone Martin O&The Herb and Bitter Public House – sister venue of the excellent Rocco’s – boasts a domed patio area which is a top spot on a sweltering, Seattle-hot summer day. This popular spot with its cocktails and Spanish tapas is housed in a historical building dating back to 1923 with a vintage ceiling and elegant wallpaper. They do a great line in Amaro based cocktail, herbal cocnctions as the name suggests, laced with Italy’s signature liqueur. The bar’s shelves are crammed full of amari, and they also stock eight different spirits to serve straight from the barrel they were aged in, as well as a range of 20 taps, with local brews available. The menu of seasonal tapas includes charcuterie, cheese, housemade sausages and top notch croquetas.
