Bottle and Bull

This handsome Kirkland bar and restaurant is richly decked out with an abundance of dark wood. It’s a lively, stylish spot, inspired by Ernest Hemingway. He was a well-travelled man and the bar boasts an international menu and a “Scratch Kitchen.” Dishes include the Papa Burger, topped with bacon, zucchini relish, white cheddar, roasted garlic aioli, and served in the ubiquitous brioche bun. We also like the sound of their Boiler Maker Waffles, made with pilsner beer and vanilla bourbon butter, slathered in Vermont maple syrup. Craft cocktails include a large range of classic golden age drinks as well as a few signature creations, the latter of which include the Strega Smash, a blend of fennel infused vodka, Liquore Strega, sugar, mint, and muddled lemon, and A Farwell To Arms (but, of course) a blend of Tequila blanco, lustau amontillado sherry, and Meletti, finished with pinch of salt. There’s a superior wine list and a great range of local craft brews available too.
