Zin Wine Bar

Wine lovers can sometimes be poorly served in Shanghai, but in Zin wine bar the antithesis is true. Their cellars are packed with close to 200 varieties, ranging from Argentina to New Zealand and there is a sommelier available to help navigate the list. Owned by an ex pat from san Francisco, the atmospheric bar attracts an eclectic crowd, locals, tourists and other ex-pats, eager to sample decent vino in a city where beer is often the tipple of choice. The small patio area is ideal for snuggling up with a pre-dinner drink and there’s an upstairs bar area peppered with cozy leather sofas. Food is decent and later in the evenings live jazz keeps the mood mellow.
