Coffee Bar K

This consistently popular Japanese-inspired cocktail bar, a Singapore staple, has loads going for it. The service is excellent and the drinks are always on the money. They serve incredibly well-made cocktails and a large range of quality whiskeys. In fact there are over 500 different types available here, served over hand shaved ice cubes in handsome Baccarat glasses. The bartenders are on hand to give advice and suggestions, if you’re unsure where to begin. The cocktail list is also pretty comprehensive. It’s divided by base spirit, and while whiskey is well represented there are also gin and rum based tipples available if that’s how you roll. The list is, by any standards, huge – if you have a favoured cocktail it’s probably on here. They make a superior Negroni and a potent Martini. The interior is warm and welcoming, the focus more on the contents of your glass than on high-concept design. There’s also a very generous Happy Hour – which always makes us happy. It’s easy to see why this place has lasted the course and why it remains so many people’s favourite.
