Jean Roch’s famous St Tropez club is, not unsurprisingly given its name, a favourite with the celeb set. Inside, the club is spread over two levels with décor that is a collage of deep purples and greens, seductive and moody. Upstairs there’s the dance floor, where the pretty people congregate, and a small adjoining bar area. Drinks are predictably expensive, but then this is St Tropez, and if you’re partying here, chances are such trivialities don’t matter to you much. Music is all house and techno and things don’t really kick off until way after midnight, though they continue well into the early hours of the morning.
