A Parisian-inspired bar and bistro in Sydney, dinner and drinks at Felix will have you convinced you boarded a long haul flight and touched down in the City of Light.
How do they pull this off? Well, while many venues around the world draw inspiration from the elegance of the French capital, Felix’s dazzling decor includes authentic Parisian subway tiles on the walls, chandeliers imported from France, bespoke bistro chairs, and a wine cabinet that would make most sommeliers turn red (or white) with envy. Yes, Felix is an homage to that most quintessential of Parisian spaces – the brasserie – and complements the stunning decor with modern French fare, wine, and cocktails that enhance the experience. As far as the cocktails are concerned, Felix pours a bit of France into many of their signature tipples, with the Felix Martini – premium gin, passionfruit, mint, lime, agave, and Sauternes wine served straight up – the Felix Bellini – peach liqueur, calvados, British herbal liqueur, and lemon topped with champagne foam – and the Burgundy Mule – Prunelle de Bourgogne, yuzu, ginger liqueur, ginger beer – leading the way. Classics and mocktails are also doled out with the utmost of precision, in addition to the aforementioned wine selection, which is simply spectacular. The award-winning wine list has been painstakingly selected and offers a staggering amount of selections from all over France (and the world) and is poured by an expert staff, outfitted in traditional Gallic long aprons, of course.
