Taylors in Sydney is a welcoming and intimate rooftop jungle retreat. To feel free up in the air above the busy crowded streets, Taylors is a must for delicious cocktails and food.

Taylor’s bar is a welcome treat in this town with its special jungle style rooftop bar. Airy and exposed, Taylor’s is a pleasant get away from the normal daily routine. Bearing in mind this barely just a year old, it has already attracted a lot of attention from the locals. This isn’t an ordinary rooftop bar, with a retractable roof and high standing walls, it is secluded and private but still gives you the open air and terrace feel. Rustic metal beams and pipes are features at Taylor’s along with walls of green bushes. It has a slight steampunk vibe but also suggests inner-city culture. The food here is served by none other than Lee Thomson who has an extensive background in this field. The menu consists of classic pub food combined with Mediterranean and Asian influences. If you are feeling peckish- we definitely recommend the succulent maple glazed roast chicken. They have several classic beers on tap as well as a very nice dry rose. There are many different types of champagne so be sure to check the price first. The mixologists supply some exclusive in-house cocktails such as the ‘spiced sour’ as well as some classics such as the Margarita and Old Fashioned. We suggest you try the ‘Southside’ which is a blend of Gin, mint, lime and sugar.
