Anna Loulou

Anna Loulou is an underground bar and a cultural centre in the heart of Jaffa which plays host to a revolving collection of DJ sets, live music, live art and club nights. The bar is decked out with plenty of quirky mismatched furniture, colourful tables and stools, the brick walls are splashed with gold paint and there’s an abundance of kitsch wall art (is that Liz Taylor, haloed with light bulbs?). Everything has a faintly hand-painted feel about it and video is often projected on the walls. The atmosphere is considerable here. The place has an inclusive LGBT friendly vibe and gets pretty busy in the evenings, when the DJs begin to spin or the band begins to play.
