A relatively new addition to the Tel Aviv scene – it opened in early in 2014 and is co-owned by local DJ Yarin Lidor – Kuli Alma has an arty, cultured vibe. Set in the south of the city, where Allenby meets Yehuda Halevi, it’s two-level, subterranean space with a courtyard. The ambience is appealing, laid-back and creative – this place has a good energy. Art by local graffiti artists adorns the walls and there are splashes of greenery to warm up the urban dcor. The atmosphere is chilled and friendly, it’s the kind of place you come if you’re in the mood for a night hanging out with friends, listening to music, and eating pizza (they do a good range of pizzas). While you’re here you should definitely try the bar’s trademark Mojito slurpies. With music and DJs every night of the week – mostly soul, funk, and electronic – there is always something going on here.
