Start off your evening upstairs in the livelier and brighter Guzzle Club and ask the friendly staff to let you know when there are seats available at Sip. Be aware that although affiliated, the bars have separate menus and prices and you must settle your tab at Guzzle before descending the stairs to Sip for your evening of kitsch cocktails and vintage vibes.

The menu at Sip is creative and sophisticated. Drinks are a little on the pricey side but this reflects the artistry of the mixologists and the use of high-quality ingredients. A perennial highlight of the menu is the Natural Unnatural Wine. What first appears to be a glass of white wine is, in fact, an intricately created concoction of gin Yerba Mate, passion fruit and green apple. Asian influences are prevalent on the menu as well as in the décor. The On a Slow Boat to China is a delicate cocktail of jasmine, lychee and dragon fruit brought to life with a sizeable helping of rum.

This bar in Tokyo is the brainchild of cocktail aficionado Shingo Gokan who is well-known on the Shanghai nightlife scene. This is his team’s first foray into the Japanese market and is thus far winning over locals and tourists alike.

地下にある、東京で最もおしゃれなカクテルバーSIPは、狂騒の20年代へとタイムスリップしたかのような気分に浸りながら、すばらしいカクテルを味わえる場所です。
今最もトレンディなSG Clubを構成するふたつのバーのひとつSIP。オルタナティブな雰囲気が漂う東京・渋谷の裏通りに位置するこのバーは[https://www.worldsbestbars.com/destination/tokyo/]、姉妹店であるGuzzleの地下にあります。むき出しの木、アールデコ調のランプシェード、昔ながらのネクタイやスーツに身を包んだバーテンダーなど、マンハッタンの古い酒場を彷彿させる雰囲気に、ジャパニーズテイストを取り入れ、西洋と東洋を見事に融合させています。ロマンチックな夜のデートはもちろん、友人たちとの語らいやビジネスパートナーの接待にも使うことができるバーです。
このバーを訪れる際には、まず1階にある明るく陽気な雰囲気のバーGuzzleで少し飲んでから、親しくなったスタッフにSIPに席が空いているかを尋ねると良いでしょう。GuzzleとSIPは姉妹店ではありますが、メニューも価格も異なっています。SIPに行ってキッチュなカクテルやレトロな雰囲気を味わう前に、 Guzzleのお会計を先に済ませておく必要がありますので注意してください。
SIPでは、独創的で洗練されたメニューを取り揃えています。ドリンク類の値段は少し高めですが、そこにはミクソロジストの高い芸術性や高品質な素材の価格が反映されています。一番のおすすめは、「ナチュラル・アンナチュラル・ワイン（Natural Unnatural Wine）」です。一見するとただのグラスワインのように見えるこのカクテルには、ジン、イェルバマテ、パッションフルーツ、青リンゴが複雑にブレンドされています。また、インテリア同様、メニューにもアジアの雰囲気を取り入れています。ジャスミン、ライチ、ドラゴンフルーツに、活力をもたらすラムをたっぷりとブレンドした繊細なカクテル「オン・ア・スロー・ボート・トゥ・チャイナ（On a Slow Boat to China）」もそのひとつです。
上海のナイトライフシーンで有名なバーテンダー、後閑 信吾がプロデュースしたこのバーは、彼のチームが日本市場に出店した初のバーということで、すでに東京の人たちだけでなく旅行者をも魅了しています。
