- Night Out

Occupying that once housed the Ultra Supper Club, Cube has been attracting a glamorous crowd since early 2012. The new venue has been given an overhaul and now feels far roomier with fewer tables and sleeker decor, more space for drinking and dancing. The design is visually striking with high ceilings, big mirrors and a bold black and yellow hornet-striped colour scheme. Every surface is highly shined and gleaming. Cube isn’t a supper club like its predecessor but an out-and-out club-club complete with a dance floor and a DJ booth equipped with an LED screen. There are bottle service booths scattered throughout the venue and a rooftop patio upstairs with two separate bars and plenty more booth-seating. This place is a gift on warm summer evenings, with bottle service and superb views of the iconic CN Tower and the rooftops of the city. Open on Fridays and Saturdays, the club caters to a more mature, moneyed crowd than some similar venues, with age restrictions and a tough door policy. House music is a mainstay here, along with a sprinkling of hip hop and R&B as well. Drinks are lower down on the agenda and prices are on the steep side. Make sure you dress up if you’re planning a visit, it’s that kind of space somewhere you go to see and to be seen.
